The DFI is further expanding its 2023 course programme for chemists, process engineers and biotechnologists. New in the DECHEMA continuing education programme are courses on optical metrology in industrial PAT applications, laser protection, safety hazards of energy transition technologies, Nagoya Protocol and drinking water hygiene.

The courses of the DFI have been established for decades as a practice-oriented further training opportunity. They are primarily aimed at chemists, engineers, biotechnologists and materials scientists who want to further their education and learn about new methods for industrial application. State-recognised further education courses, for example in the field of genetic engineering law, are also included.
