Prof. Dr. Wolfram Fürbeth, head of the corrosion research group at DECHEMA-Forschungsinstitut (DFI) and member of the institute directorate, has been confirmed unanimously as chairman of the „Science and Technology Advisory Committee“ of the European Federation of Corrosion (EFC) at the EUROCORR conference in Sevilla, Spain, on 9 September 2019.
Wolfram Fürbeth is the head of the scientific advisory board of the european corrosion society EFC since 2017. The tasks of the board are the further development of the scientific work in the numerous working parties of the EFC and the program design of the EUROCORR as the annual european corrosion conference.
