The economic policy spokesman of the Hessian State Parliament, Heiko Kasseckert (MdL, CDU), visited the DECHEMA Research Institute in Frankfurt am Main on 31 August 2023 to gain an insight into the latest scientific developments and innovations in the fields of materials research and chemical process technology for the energy transition.
During his visit, Kasseckert had the opportunity to meet leading researchers and experts at the institute to learn about their groundbreaking projects and research work, including in the field of hydrogen.
Heiko Kasseckert emphasised the importance of the DFI's research for economic development in Hesse: "The researchers at the DFI make a valuable contribution to the development of new, sustainable technologies and for targeted technology transfer to industry. Our goal must be to invest more in application-oriented top-level research facilities in order to further develop and strengthen Hessen as a business location."
