At this year's general meeting of the GfKORR Gesellschaft für Korrosionsschutz e.V. on 8 November 2022, Ricarda Maria Grün was awarded the Dr. Klaus Seppeler Foundation Prize for her master's thesis "Reduction of corrosion on plasma-electrolytically oxidised magnesium AZ31 by using inhibitor-loaded nanocontainers", which was prepared in the DFI Electrolytic Corrosion team.
Furthermore, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfram Fürbeth, Team Leader Electrolytic Corrosion, was unanimously elected by the assembly to the board of GfKORR Gesellschaft für Korrosionsschutz e.V. for the next three years.
