Under the motto "Energy and raw materials transition: Research for the Future", the DECHEMA Research Institute hosted this year's DFI lab2industry Day on 27 November 2024.
The event at DECHEMA House in Frankfurt am Main featured current contributions to selected research projects of the institute as well as exciting guest lectures by project partners from industry and academia:
- Digital information management: What information is essential for the circular economy of raw materials in hydrogen electrolysers - Ramona Simon, DECHEMA e.V.
- Recovery of critical raw materials from lithium-ion batteries - state of the art and development potential - Christian Dertmann, ACCUREC Recycling GmbH
- Electrochemical methods in battery recycling - Dr Christian Modrzynski, DECHEMA Research Institute
- The hydrogen lead project H2Giga: Series production of electrolysers - Dr Simone Rogg, DECHEMA e.V
- Critical material aspects for the ramp-up of alkaline, PEM and high-temperature water electrolysis - Dr Jean-François Drillet, DECHEMA Research Institute
- Ferritic interconnects in high-temperature electrolysis cells - challenges and degradation processes from ambient temperature to 800 °C - David Kniep, DECHEMA Research Institute
- CO2 electrolysis and synthesis of biopolymers - Dr Markus Stöckl, DECHEMA Research Institute
- Further development in solar tower technologies for stable energy supply - Dr Ceyhun Oskay, DECHEMA Research Institute
We look forward to welcoming you to the next DFI Day next year.
