Cover Feature: CO2 Reduction to Formic Acid/Formate by Intermittent Electricity at Bismuth Gas Diffusion Electrodes (ChemSusChem 23/2025)

M. Stöckl and co-workers

The Cover Feature shows a day–night landscape and a central illustration of an CO2 electrolyser. Sunlit solar panels and wind turbines with a taut windsock contrast with a moonlit, windless field with a drooping windsock. The stylized electrolyzer with a magnified bismuth electrocatalyst catalyst converts CO2 to formic acid under intermittent wind–solar power, symbolizing flexible, on-demand production. More information can be found in the Research Article by M. Stöckl and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/cssc.202501583 ). The cover was designed by the authors and the designer Verena Stöckl.
