Dr.-Ing. Silvia Ulrich, who has been working at DECHEMA Research Institute (DFI) since 2014, will be appointed deputy head of the high temperature materials group with effect from 1 June 2020.
The focus of her scientific research is the development of refractory metal-based systems with potential working temperatures beyond those of the commonly used Ni-based superalloys.
