Vice-President of the European Parliament visits DECHEMA Research Institute

On 16 July 2021, Nicola Beer, Vice-President of the European Parliament, MEP (FDP) and member of the Senate of the Zuse Association, visited the DECHEMA Research Institute in Frankfurt am Main.

The meeting served to present applied research in the field of energy and raw materials transition, hydrogen and the EU-funded projects Compass CO2 and TopAm at DECHEMA Research Institute.

In addition, Ms Beer also discussed current research policy issues, such as fairness in research funding and nationwide research funding for SME-related research in Germany, with the board members of the DFI and the managing directors of DECHEMA e.V. and the German Industrial Research Association Konrad Zuse e.V. (Zuse Association).
