Martin Hankele (MPA of Univeristy Stuttgart), Dr. Florian Mayer (DFI), and Franziska Enzmann (DFI, l. to r.) receive their awards.
The third congress for young scientists, "24 hours for resource efficiency", took place on 27 and 28 February at Hochschule Pforzheim. Around 30 young scientists from all over Germany discussed future strategies for providing economically strategic raw materials. This year a presentation award as well as a poster award was presented to scientists from DFI. Dr. Florian Mayer won the poster award for his contribution "Methanogens for biogas upgrading by microbial electrosynthesis (MES)" and Franziska Enzmann received a presentation award for her talk "Scalable Reactors for bioelectromethanogenesis".
Excellent! Professor Dr.-Ing. Jörg Woidasky (Hochschule Pforzheim) hands over the awards to the outstanding young scientists: Martin Hankele (MPA at Uni Stuttgart), Dr. Florian Mayer (DFI), and Franziska Enzmann (DFI, l. to r. ).
