1st Pseudomonas Grassroots Meeting brings researchers from all over Europe to Frankfurt

2018-11-09 |

The scientific interest in the very robust Pseudomonas strains as biotechnological workhorses is growing rapidly and so are the molecular tools and applications. In order to create a platform for networking and exchange for young scientists working on Pseudomonas for biotechnological applications, the 1st Pseudomonas Grassroots Meeting took place in the DECHEMA House in Frankfurt am Main from 8 to 9 November 2018.

PhD students, postdocs, and PIs from all over Europe came together and discussed various topics around Pseudomonas during presentations and a poster session. Due to the great resonance of the event, further activities are planned. Their aim is to further develop co-operation and exchange between the Pseudomonas scientists. A follow-up meeting next year is already planned.

The symposium was jointly organized by members of RWTH Aachen, Forschungszentrum Jülich, DECHEMA-Forschungsinstitut and DECHEMA e.V..
