Process water

Process water

In the majority of industrial processes and public supply, the resource water plays a major role and cannot be substituted in most cases. The function of water thereby ranges from the use as cooling water, over solvent and reaction medium to drinking water. Within the aims of resource protection and a sustainable water management, process waters are one of the focus topics at the DFI. Several groups at the DFI work on the elimination of pollutants, water conditioning for process industries, resource recovery from waters, and the remediation of environmental pollution.
